Urine tests identify brain tumors by capturing cancer DNA using nanowires

Researchers from Nagoya University in Japan and their team created a technology for detecting cell-free DNA from cancer cells in urine samples using nanowires. They successfully identified the IDH1 mutation, a typical genetic mutation of brain tumors, using their method to capture this DNA. Their research demonstrates a secure, efficient, and non-invasive method of identifying brain tumors.
